EYFS Teaching Assistant
Salary: Scale point NJC 2 £22,366 pro rata + LW £2,175 pro rata
Hours: Term time only, 32.5 hours per week, 8.30am – 3.30pm.

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will work alongside our EYFS staff to support and extend children’s learning through the early years’ foundation stage. The role requires someone who is passionate about children’s learning and who has a rich knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn within the EYFS. You will promote, and support the inclusion of all pupils. You will be instrumental in our mission to provide every pupil, regardless of their background, a great education and real choices in life.

The successful candidate will possess:
• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent at grade C or above
• Competent IT skills
• A hard working and flexible attitude.
• A passion for working with children.
• The ability to carry out designated tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• The ability to be creative and use initiative to engage children.
• The ability to work under pressure, with enthusiasm, motivation and commitment.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and remain calm under pressure.
