Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together.

Academic achievement isn’t the only benefit of music education and exposure. In addition to the developmental benefits, simply put: music bring us joy. As a result, it is important for your child to take part in musical activities each week to help with their mental health and well-being.

Join in with the fun (and challenging) clapping game. How fast can you do it?

Can you copy these different patterns and rhythms? Find some pots or an empty box and join the Spanish Rhythm Banquet. (Maybe you can do the drumming pattern on a table if you can’t find an object)
