Lower KS2 Teacher/Science Leader

Salary: M1 – M6 depending on experience

We require a qualified, committed, creative, inspirational and enthusiastic teacher to work in Lower KS2 to help nurture and motivate our pupils and accelerate their learning, inspiring them to succeed.
The Science Lead is a classroom based role which allows an excellent classroom teacher to develop as a leader. The Science Lead will be responsible for the leadership of an excellent primary science curriculum, ensuring all our pupils make excellent progress in Science through key leadership actions. They will also model excellence through their own classroom practice.
The Person:
- Must have a passion for education.
- Must be experienced and have a strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and have experience of leading the Science curriculum for all Key Stages.
- Must have strong and effective classroom management skills.
- Must possess the ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible attitude and a calm, organised work ethic.
- Must have experience and understanding of organising, promoting and evaluating the children’s learning.
- Must be able to deliver well planned, well considered and motivational lessons, with experience of motivating and managing young children effectively.
- Must possess strong communication skills, appropriate to communicating effectively with staff, parents and children.
